About Us

Nano Alumina USA is a pre-revenue specialty-materials company commercializing a gallium-catalyzed process licensed from UC Santa Cruz to produce 4N5 (99.995% purity) nano-scale high-purity alumina (HPA) and its precursor phases—alpha-alumina, bayerite, and boehmite. A single low-temperature (31–55°C), atmospheric-pressure reaction passes sequentially through bayerite and boehmite before calcination to alpha-alumina, allowing all three products to be produced with minimal incremental capital. The process also co-produces hydrogen as a usable byproduct.

The company’s products serve AI data-center and semiconductor manufacturing, clean energy, and national defense markets. High-purity alumina is classified as a strategic and critical material by the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Geological Survey, and the EU Critical Raw Materials Act, supporting the company’s national-security and supply-chain-resilience rationale.

Nano Alumina USA plans to manufacture HPA using a single modular platform in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, beginning with one demonstration production train and scaling to eight. This modular approach is designed to support a phased expansion strategy while maintaining the flexibility to meet growing demand across multiple high-value markets.
